Summary via Goodreads:

Twelve-year-old Kat Stephenson may be the despair of her social-climbing Step-Mama, but she was born to be a magical Guardian and protector of Society–if she can ever find true acceptance in the secret Order that expelled her own mother. She’s ready to turn the hidebound Order of the Guardians inside-out, whether the older members like it or not. And in a society where magic is the greatest scandal of all, Kat is determined to use all her powers to help her three older siblings–saintly Elissa, practicing-witch Angeline, and hopelessly foolish Charles–find their own true loves, even if she has to turn highwayman, battle wild magic, and confront real ghosts along the way!

Kat, Incorrigible is a witty, adventurous and undeniably adorable read! It’s the kind of book that I’d love to read again and again! It’s filled with adventures and laugh out loud moments! I utterly love it!
I have lots of favorite parts in the book but Kat is the main reason why I wholeheartedly enjoyed the story. She’s gutsy, independent and a smart one, too. For me, she’s not the typical “ass-kicking” heroine. I think Kat has her own way of being a brave which I truly admire about her. She’s also outspoken and lively and just utterly adorable! I enjoyed all of the characters as well. I thought they are very well-written and developed. I just love reading them and getting to know each and every one of them.
I also love Kat’s relationship with her sisters, Elissa and Angeline. Their bickering will definitely sent you on a giggle fit which is another thing why I enjoyed the book. No page will bore you. Everything about this book is just tremendously entertaining and that’s because Stephanie Burgis is a wonderful story-teller!

I’m giving Kat, Incorrigible a perfect 5 of 5 stars and a hug for Stephanie for crafting such a wonderful book filled with adventures, fun and a one-of-a-kind heroine like Kat. I cannot wait to read the next book!

I'm always really late on stuff. I enjoyed reading your review. it was short and simple with a few emotions. I started my own blog and as I read other blogs I get intimidated, like mines are long enough or dramatic enough or, dare I say, some spoilers. A friend of mine just finished reading this book, she wrote a quick review for me to post on my blog, and between the two of you I am seriously considering reading it even though its out of my genre category.
