Lexie Diamond loves her computer. She loves to surf the Web more than anything else–and to the exclusion of a social life. Beyond being just a computer geek, Lexie has developed a unique philosophy that the essential truth about life is found on the Internet, which she navigates with the expertise and finesse of a true believer.

Then a tragic accident rocks Lexie’s cyber-driven world and forces her to navigate the real world after all. With the aid of an unexpected ally–her first actual friend–not only is Lexie drawn into a mystery surrounding the accident, but she discovers more magic in the Web than she ever dreamed possible.
Along the way Lexie’s beliefs are challenged, her family is turned upside down, and her future is threatened. In this visionary tour de force by a promising new novelist, Lexie must decide what is real and what is virtual: Her life depends on it.

I honestly did not know what exactly to expect on reading this book but when I started reading it, I couldn’t put it down!

The Virtual Life of Lexie Diamond is an utterly fun, exciting and suspenseful read. Author, Victoria Foyt, balanced them all together effectively along with a unique, strong and smart protagonist, Lexie Diamond. Lexie is so much fun to read. She’s funny, straight-forward and got so much common sense. She’s got a great and compelling voice. And her relationship with her parents felt really genuine and relatable.

There are so many parts of the story that I genuinely enjoy most especially the part where she was sleuthing about the sudden death of her mother, and also when she was trying to annoy Jane. It was really hilarious!

I want to add more but this story is a also mixed with mystery and I don’t want to spoil it for those who wants to read the book. I think I already gave something but it’s not really that of a surprise.

Overall, I enjoyed this book so much! I highly recommend this to all YA fiction readers who wants some mystery in the plot, a little romance and hilarious scenes, The Virtual Life of Lexie Diamond is the book for you!
