July TBR

Hi, everyone! I can’t believe that we are already in the fourth quarter of the year. Reading-wise, I should say that I feel accomplished in a way. I’m really not the type of person who validates myself as a reader based on how many books I’ve managed to read in a month or in any given time. I suppose this has something to do with the fact that I can be a mood reader sometimes, and also just because life gets in the way.

Now, as much as I enjoy being a mood reader. I have finally decided to set books to read per month mainly because I have so many books on my TBR pile (you must’ve heard this a thousand times from any book blogger you know). But really. I feel like if I set certain books to read and stick with them, I can successfully tick off some books off of my to be read list.

Last month, I’ve decided to re-read Leigh Bardugo’s Grisha trilogy for my own personal enjoyment. I’m almost done with Shadow & Bone. This month, I’ll be reading the second book, Siege & Storm, followed by Ruin & Rising. And finally, I’ll be reading Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom which appears to be the fan favorite in the Grisha world.

I will also be reading some ARCs I received from publishers via Edelweiss. This month, I will be diving into Shelby Mahurin’s Serpent & Dove and Annie Sullivan’s Tiger Queen.

I cannot wait to start reading them! What books are on your TBR this month? Share them below the comments 🙂
